This blog was made for STA 467: Time and Motion Design (a class I am taking at Michigan State) It was set up as a way to share ideas, videos and projects with our professor and classmates throughout the semester.
I attempted to upload the video directly onto my blog but the quality was terrible do here is the link to Vimeo. I still think there are a few timing issues I need to work out but here is the end result of Project 3.
Hi Gina! Your video is very professional. I would've thought I was watching an ad if I didn't know you made it. I like the clean lines and white space to give your video an overall fresh look. I mean fresh like a salad, I'm not trying to be cool haha. This video is pretty similar to the storyboard I looked at a few weeks ago, the only thing that I can see different is the music. I don't know if I like the music choice or not... I like that you added music but I don't know if that song is appropriate. The story does surprise me, It makes me want to eat healthier. "The real price never appears on the menu" is what got me. Maybe the music can stop when that sentence comes in, and then start again after or something. Just to give a little hierarchy. All of your ways of combining type&image are great, as well as your transitions. All fit perfectly. Timing is great. Well done!
